Why join our team
For 33 years, California Hearing Center has been transforming lives through professional hearing care on the Peninsula. You would join a practice that invests in diagnostics, verification, and follow-up care rather than volume — where doing the job properly is the business model, not an aspiration. Our two offices give clinicians variety in caseload while keeping the team small enough that everyone knows the patients.
Compensation and growth
We offer a generous commission structure, with the ability to double or even triple compensation based on clear sales goals, plus clear advancement paths so you can grow your skillset and take on new responsibilities. Ongoing education is covered, including association memberships and conferences, to keep you at the forefront of hearing care.
Health, retirement, and time off
We cover 99% of your health insurance premiums, plus 99% of dental and vision coverage. There is a competitive 401k plan with company matching, a generous PTO program with paid time off and sick leave for everyone, and volunteer time off so you can give back to the community.
Life at the practice
A wellness credit covers gym membership or fitness reimbursement. There is an employee discount on products, a stocked fridge and pantry, and company-sponsored social events and team-building outings. We are also a pet-friendly workplace — well-behaved furry friends are welcome in the office.
Open role: Audiologist
We are looking for an Au.D. with current California licensure for audiology and hearing aid dispensing, and board certification. You should bring excellent interpersonal skills that build effective relationships with diverse patients, colleagues, and vendors; strong listening, sales, and problem-solving skills; the ability to organize your time and prioritize numerous duties within deadlines; and a team-oriented, positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced setting.
Open role: Hearing Instrument Specialist
We are looking for an HIS with current California licensure for hearing aid dispensing. You should have experience administering tests to evaluate hearing and to fit hearing aids, exceptional customer service and oral communication skills, teaching ability to educate patients on device care and maintenance, and strong mechanical and problem-solving skills for device troubleshooting and repair.
